Event Sparks Cable Recycling was founded in 2020 during the global pandemic of Covid-19. We are based in Bridgwater, Somerset, however have a customer base in many different areas. For example, we have customers in Newport, Herefordshire, Bristol, Exeter, Coventry, Northampton, Peterborough, London, Portsmouth, Bournemouth & Plymouth.

How Our Cable Recycling Service Works
1. Request Your Free Bin
Choose from our various sizes of recycling bins. We offer 240L, 660L or 110L bins for you to store your cable. We deliver this bin for free to your location, worksite, business premises or home.
2. Fill Your Bin
Next, dispose of your scrap cables and non-ferrous metals after each job. We accept all sorts of cable and non-ferrous metals. Please ask us if you are unsure on anything.
3. Schedule a Collection
Once your bin is full, simply email or call us to arrange a collection. We will then schedule a date and swap it out for a new one!
4. Sorting & Weighing
After that, our team will then take your full bin back with us to yard where we will sort the contents and weigh them, to ensure you get the best possible return.
5. Recieve Payment
Lastly, after we have sorted and weighed the contents of your bin, we will provide a prompt payment alongside a waste transfer note for your records.
6. Repeat the Process
And that is it, your through the first recycling cycle with us. Once we've collected your bin, you can start filling it again, ready for that next collection!

We accept all types of cable that have a copper content. We then determine what this cable is during the sorting phase. If it’s a new cable we haven’t seen before we take a sample and work out the copper content. This will allow us to know how much it is worth and be able to pay you the best possible price.
While we are specialists with cable, it is not all we take. We take all non-ferrous metals. For example we accept copper pipe, brass, aluminium or lead acid batteries. Please contact us with any questions on this.
You have as long as you need. We have some customers that fill there bin up in about a month or two and some that are 5 or 6. You just need to call us when your bin is full and we’ll schedule a collection.
Nope, not at all! There are no hidden charges in our service. In fact we don’t ever charge you for anything, we simply give you a bin for free, collect it for free and pay you for you cable!

We update our prices daily to align with the ever changing copper prices. We can assure you that we have some of the best prices in the industry.
We currently pay you via a BACS payment, however we are open to exploring other methods. If you have a preference, let a member of our team know and we’ll see what we can do.
At Event Sparks Cable Recycling, we do everything possible to increase efficiency and reduce our carbon footprint. Every part of the cable will be sold on to companies who will re-use them, even the plastic. We make sure to carry out regular maintenance on our machines to ensure we are getting the most out of them. We have strict recycling measures that align with our business values.

A member of our team will then pick this up and schedule a collection to fit with yours and our schedule.
Ideally, we will only collect your bin if it is full. However on the off chance that we are going to be passing by your location with a space free, we may reach out to collect it even if its not full all the way.
